Through games with results reported through Jan.19, 2020.

Here are the MVC Girls Basketball scoring leaders, through Week 5. A minimum of seven games must be reported to qualify.

Lawrence guard Portia Batistine continues to lead all MVC girls basketball scorers, but Dracut freshman Ashlee Talbot closed the gap by more than half with her performances in the past week.

The biggest riser is Haverhill’s Leandra Kwo, who rose 13 spots thanks to her 18 points in a double-OT win over Dracut on Jan. 14 and 25 points (and 20 rebounds) in a Jan. 17 win over Methuen.

See errors or think your player/friend/daughter should qualify? Report any omissions (with game-by-game scoring totals) to results@mvcsportstoday.com.
