It’s the second straight overall MVP vote for girls basketball as the leader of the 6-0 Lions takes home the victory.
For a second straight week, our MVC Sports Today Weekly Winter Sports MVP comes from girls basketball, and this week, it’s from the league’s best team thus far.
Meghan Goode won the overall MVP vote after winning 52 percent of the vote in her sport vote.
Goode was outstanding in three wins for the Lions this week, scoring 13 points in a 66-14 win over Acton-Boxboro, 20 points in a 64-31 win over Lowell and 20 points in a 55-38 win over Tewksbury as the Lions won the Romano Holiday Tourney.
Goode took the overall vote with 38 percent of the vote, besting Aidan Hollingsworth of Methuen, Tyler Guerriero of Dracut and Thomas Dinsmore of Billerica.
