Another stellar Merrimack Valley Conference football season is in the books, and it’s time to honor those that have earned our postseason accolades.

Below, you will find our personal award winners for both players and coaches. Following that will be the list of All-MVC Gridiron First, Second and Third Teams.

The 2019 MVC Gridiron Awards were part of the “MVC Gridiron Weekly” show and are separate from the year-end All-MVC awards decided by Merrimack Valley Conference coaches and officials. “MVC Gridiron Weekly” host Tim Wood and analysts Hector Longo and Bill Bryant voted on the awards with Merrimack Valley Sports Report founder and MVC Sports Today senior editor Logan Jakubajtys after calling for nominations and input from coaches, media, fans and parents.

In all, the Central Catholic Red Raiders led all award winners with 20 athletes/coaches honored. Andover was second with 17, followed by Tewksbury with 16. Billerica earned 10 awards, followed by Lawrence (9), North Andover (8), Lowell (8), Methuen (6), Chelmsford (6), Dracut (4) and Haverhill (2).

A total of 76 total players across the MVC won awards as part of the 2019 MVC Gridiron Awards.
