The girls soccer MVC Division 2 MVP scores overwhelming late-push victory. Flaouna Wins First Fall MVP ‘Heat’ Vote, Second Vote Active

The girls soccer MVC Division 2 MVP scores overwhelming late-push victory.

We have the first winner of our fall sports non-football MVP vote.

Billerica Indians girls soccer star Valasiki Flaouna scored a win in the first of eight groupings in our first round of votes. The Division 2 MVP moves on to the semifinals vote next week.

Central Catholic girls swimming star Kerrigan Hemp started out with a solid lead, but in the last eight hours of the vote, Billerica fans pulled off an “Avengers, Assemble!” moment and. Got. Out. The. Vote.

Wildcard selection Jimmy Boyle of North Andover boys soccer finished a distant third in the vote.

The next vote is up and will be active through 7 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 20.
