Another thriller in Tewksbury, a stellar win in Andover, tough playoff falls and a return to the field for a MVC standout.

It was another crazy week of MVC football, one that saw yet another incredible finish for the Tewksbury Redmen pulled off yet another epic finish with a goal-line stand.

The Redmen moved on to the Gap Game final against Winchester with a two-point conversion stand. Haverhill continued their win streak with a big win over Lexington, Billerica kept rolling with a win over Waltham, Andover scored a historic win over Everett and Methuen QB Connor Bryant returned to the field to score an overtime win over Chelmsford.

A lot of MVP candidates this week, but one stood out above the rest. Dracut’s Lucas Ibarguen started at QB in place of injured teammate J.C. Santiago and put up Madden-level stats as the Middles got back in the win column ahead of their Thanksgiving game against Methuen.

Here’s the MVP vote breakdown:

Congrats to Ibarguen, who has been fighting a litany of injuries since sophomore year but hasn’t given up in fighting for the Middies.

Here is the Week 10 MVC Gridiron Honor Roll, presented by Realtor Jen Hamilton.
